VW T2 Baywindow camper

Here we have my 1972 VW T2 early Bay window MOT and TAX exempt with pop top. Strong 1600cc air cooled engine (fully rebuilt 2016 at 55,000 miles) have paperwork , van now has around 65,000 miles plus , this van has had a lot of work done, resprayed VW Chianti red and VW gloss black. One off custom camouflage kit .

All the brake's done 2019 upgraded to late front calipers new pads, shoes etc. All the cargo floor has been done (see photos) , its had new front chassis sections repaired (by previous owner) , I have also had to fit a brand new adjustable Front beam (£560) , new tie rods , new heavy duty shocks all ,

it also benefits from a power steering conversion round, its just had a new exhaust fitted , all the heater cables work , its had all the tracking done by Bughaus in Nottingham , its running on Mercedes-Benz 500sl bundt 14" alloys (mexican hat) staggered fit , new tyres , very expensive.

It starts, stop and drives, i use it as my daily yes my daily

There are loaded of parts (some have now been fitted) that come with the bus , new window seals , New 12 v 75amp alternator kit (not fitted worth £200) etc

All the roof seals have now been replaced , sealed and rubber seal painted , there no bellows canvass , but I like it as an open top bus (open and close the roof)

All the internal panels have been recovered , a new herringbone floor has been fitted , a 3/4 rock n roll bed has been fitted, with cabinets and a port a loo cabinet with brand new unused portaloo .

Both front and rear seats have been re-upholstered in red with black piping , I have also had the front cab doors cards done in the same at great cost . I have fully re insulated and soundproofed the front and rear cabin, back fire wall and engine cover

The engine bay as now been cleaned and re painted and look as much better .

Now running twin 34 ICT empi carbs

Also comes a mk2 grifter painted to match the bus , which is kool ride around at shows.

Agreed value with justkampers insurance of £19,999.99 done this year.

I am putting this up for swaps basically because a miss my classic Mercedes-Benz and my Classic mini
