This is a Great bike. Look at the condition of it, I don't think it has ever been out on salted roads.
Starts easily.. no knocks rattles or bangs.. lovely smooth and positive gearbox..steers straight and is a joy to ride.
It handles much better than you might suppose and it has plenty of 'grunt' from the torque-laden engine. Once it's in top gear it's smooth to pull that from 30mph..or less. Perfect touring motorcycle.Just over 40,000 miles, which is about run-in for an XJ.. Check the forums for tales of longevity.
I am loth to part with this bike but really..I could do with something lighter. I quite fancy an ER6..but what do you have ??
