Suzuki Swift 1.0 manual mot May 26
Location: West Midlands - Stoke-on-Trent
Swap Value: 1 penny
Description:
A bit of a survivor car, clearly been garaged most of its life. The arches, sills, and floor are all in excellent condition. The overall condition of the body is outstanding considering its age, make and model, (Suzukis of this era were not known for their resilience) outstanding but not perfect, there are a few blemishes to be expected, mainly around the bumpers. Definitely worth the new owner making perfect. 4 new tyres along with new serpentine belt and cam belt, and service.
The interior is used but in one piece, no rips or tears. Seats have been sat in but are very supportive and showing very little sign of wear. Radio CD works, has usb connectivity.
Mechanically everything is perfect, not a squeak a knock or a bang, uses no oil and never ever fails to start. We just used it on an 8 hour round trip without any drama and used very little fuel. Obviously fuel efficient and will go forever on a pint of go juice.
Not a new car but definitely better condition than many cars in their first 5 years of service, possibly an everyday classic, possibly a future classic, definitely a cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, cheap to run little car. Ultra reliable, so smooth to drive, nice gear change, I’d go so far to say that if your looking at this you have a soft spot for 90’s hatch backs and can appreciate something just a little bit rare that once you drive it you’ll like it even more. Everyone who’s driven it has been pleasantly surprised about how well it drives, even spirited driving with that tiny 3 cylinder engine will put a smile on your face.
Want a small practical classic, rare, in excellent condition, that’s as reliable as (I will say it) a new car, consider this, drive it, see what you think…
