Its taxed mot'd & insured so all road legal and therefore can cover you to drive home if you already have insurance that covers you to drive other cars etc .

I'm willing to maybe take something in part exchange if it helps with the sale with cash my way etc and anything will be considered so try me .

This is a very rare Durashift automatic with no gearstick in the way at all as its all push button on dashboard for to select drive & reverse but does have manual shift that can also be used off the steering wheel for up & down gears if want to use this way . It's still a normal manual gearbox but uses like an electric motor (like a windscreen motor type thing ) that changes the gears when in automatic mode so ideal for disabled person that must have an automatic or someone that passed driving an automatic only because its registered automatic but of course as said you can use like manual off steering. It wasn’t converted this way it's a genuine ford built system that was used in several cars also . I have the books on it / sales brochure I can show you or even give you on it here if buy it but they are rare and not heard off much and a lot don't even know they exist as they have never seen 1 .

This is what the book says ... Durashift est automated shift manual transmission , This advanced system changes gears automatically at optimised points for improved fuel economy , engine durability and longer clutch life. Coupled to a manual gearbox durashift can be easily overridden allowing you to change gear manually using the steering wheel mounted buttons. It also includes 3 driver selectable modes for exceptional road and load use. Enhanced fuel economy , increased engine durability and longer clutch life with smooth gear changes regardless of road or load conditions. Driver selectable economy – tow and winter modes , engine braking during deceleration & more direct response to the accelerator pedal than a conventional automatic.

It's a 2001 ford transit camper & all registered as a camper on logbook. It's a 2.4 Duratorq Tddi 90/350 medium wheel base & rear wheel drive currently on a private plate (not included) will probably go back on original 51 plate .

Its genuine 91,800 miles from new and its mot’d until December 2025 . Ready to jump in & use but can easily be re converted inside to suit your needs better if the layout is not to your liking . This has 3 seats in front . side & back tinted windows with small windows that can be opened on sides, blue made up curtains on windows with curtain wire but I've got set of proper curtain rails and all nice curtains same green as in the matching seating & cushions etc included plus also have more of the matching seating to go with it if want to do layout different or keep as spares to use once others get damaged or something I have pics of all these , electric lights plus 12v lights & led lights fitted throughout , 6ft 4" sofa that is also a large single bed or slides out to make a big double bed and storage underneath , storage above cab plus side storage cupboards overhead above sofa with lights fitted underneath & storage unit other side with built in electric sockets plus 12v socket and usb points. Sink unit & 12v tap with pump, Full size cooker with oven & grill runs of a gas bottle , 3 way Fridge with small freezer box connected on electric & 12v only as gas pipe disconnected because fridge was only used when on hook up but you could connect back on gas if needed, Full electric hook up with plug points and usb points inside plus built in charger that also charges battery when plugged into electric hook up , Eberspacher built in night heater not cheap Chinese one or anything this is a Eberspacher night heater with blown heating and several settings that runs off diesel tank built in by back door this heating system is great and allows you to stay in there on cold nights or winter time if want and be warm as toast this system was £600 when fitted new and has full instructions etc with it and very simply to use, I also have a good quality set of internal thermal blinds / window covers for in the cab but the blown heating system also blows and warms in cab area if want so keeps frost and Condensation away. It has electric hook up point , New battery fitted with 4 year warranty from Halfords , separate 12v leisure battery fitted under bed by back door runs interior led lights / tv & heater etc instead of pulling off main van battery but van also has a split charger fitted so you can also charge the battery up in the back while driving , 12v Freeview tv & DVD with swivel bracket that can go several places and even swing out side door to watch from outside plus it's got a directional ariel on roof , Tv today 24/06/2025 when switched on came up saying no aerial connected for some reason so wouldn't tune it has always worked fine so I will try look maybe its pulled a join somewhere or I'm told it could be the vision plus aerial booster it goes through packed up so will try look and hopefully sort out. It has 2 reversing cameras with screen fitted in front , parking sensors , Cd / radio stereo , tow bar , Alarm & immobilizer , central locking with 2 keys , Power Steering , side awning rail fitted so you could use small awning off side or some buy a drive away awning. All insulated and carpeted etc throughout . It drives all good and looks great when washed & polished . It is very good condition for age . It's not a new van so may have the odd little bit and slight mark here & there of course due to age but nothing really apart from some stone chips to front grill and it had small repair to bottom front wing don't notice unless close up looking for it but common place on them for surface rust so rubbed down skimmed with filler and sprayed but didn't rub down edge enough and up close can see outline so if fussy can be redone or wings bolt on and can get cheap so nothing bad it really is a lovely solid camper and when washed / polished looks great . It also has some fade on side stripes but I've another set of all new matching stripes can go with it for if want to change them . It's got chrome mirror caps & chrome door handle covers fitted plus chrome on back lights , it's got a front bull bar & and a twin tow bar step and wind deflectors on windows . Stickers & stripes can be removed easy or changed if not to your liking It drives all good with good tyres plus 2 spare wheels and new ford wheel trims.

Its fully registered as a campervan / motorhome with DVLA and shows on logbook unlike many others out there that end up insurance is void in a bump when they find out it's been converted but not registered with DVLA. This is fully registered and It was converted from a very clean transit van into a camper for my elderly disabled father , Hence why I had to find an automatic van for him as he was restricted in later life and only allowed to drive automatics . It was first converted in 2011 and I have pictures of it before during & after somewhere. Then since my father passed away it was altered inside a bit to better suit me . Between my father & me We have owned it now for 14 / 15 years and in this time, it's only covered very little miles some years if you look at mileage history, the most miles one year were when we done a tour of southern Ireland for 2 weeks . I'm not really wanting to part with it however since my father passed away and I've had it then it doesn't really get used much and maybe time now to move on and let someone else enjoy it.

Drives all good as it should and whoever buys this will not be disappointed. It's not fast of course it's a camper but will sit on motorway comfy and keep up with speed limits and modern traffic , it can be a little slower when comes to hills but it is only a 90 and only a campervan and most this age are the same. Can easily be re converted inside to suit your needs better but it's ready to jump in and off you go and use. It really is a lovely solid camper for its age and when washed / polished looks great;

Anything will be considered in a part exchange if it helps with the sale and if it's of interest to me with cash my way. I am into all sorts like Classic Cars / 4x4 / Cars / Caravans / Car trailers or another Campers etc so anything will be considered so try me you never know ! Or to be honest cash is always best but please don't waste your time or mine with silly offers. I'm not really wanting to part with it however like said since my father passed away and I've had it then it doesn't really get used and maybe time to move on . I'm just testing the interest and of course for the right deal I will let it go .

Viewing welcome & advised to avoid any disappointment however I may need a day or 2 to arrange plus it will take a day to swap over the number plates online with DVLA etc and get new ones fitted as I won't do this until sold or deposit taken.
