This car is a GLI it was only years later they rebranded the cabrolet GLI to a GTI. A GTI Cabriolet did not exist in 1982. This in essence is a GTI but branded as a GLI.

Previous owner says the car was driving just over 12 months ago.

Very original car, interior is mint for age and outside appears original and now needs tlc

Since purshacing replaced fuel pump Metering Head, Fuel Filter, Re-timed engine.
Now running but not constantly

Tires need replacement but wheels are good

Rust in places, needs rear valance, sills/ends - included are repair panels from heritage parts. I have started removing the rear valance but struggling for time..

Comes with spare passenger door, boot, kjet, box full of parts, upper strut brace, car cover which fits well

Previous owner has had the head gasket done, new water pump, last year had a new starter motor, new spark plugs, distributer cap and HT leads.

The car is 43 years old and the condition reflects this. The cars taxation class is historic vehicle so MOT & Tax exempt
