I’m just testing the water , if you know anything about this car then you will know how special they are. Voted 2nd best hot hatch of all time and serious backing from the ergo magazine who the owner actually bought one he was so impressed.
I’ve done some restoration as in front wheels of and callipers taken back to metal and spayed , arches degreased, taken the sub frame off and taken back to metal and spay treatment both sides. I’ve got a replacement air controller as some peal but I will fit the new one. It’s just had the cambelt kit done and now putting it back together. Great history I’ve know this car a longtime as it was my friends dads so never been a track. The engine was rebuilt £2,400 but will have to try contact the garage to see if they can give me a duplicate. This car is gleaming with no dents and runs amazing. I haven’t serviced the sachs front suspension so is running on the alternative. I will refurbish for the right deal which is around £800 but I’ve got them. I’ve upgraded some of the bushes, the gearbox feels tight just like new. This car has never been thrashed. It will have the 12 mot and and the cambelt kit all done so.
I think there’s only just over 300 left and I think 60 was made for Switzerland so only 550 made in the world. They are rising in value fast now and will be sillly money if kept like this.
The plate doesn’t come with the car.
What I’m looking for is something fast with a good amount of cash in a deal.
