Peugeot Boxer Camper Van

Here for sale or Swap is a 2000 Peugeot Boxer 1.9 SWB purpose built camper van.

The van has mot until the 31st of March 2026 having done less than 10 miles since the last MOT. It runs and drives well and starts on the button every time. Being an old diesel it can be a bit smoky on start up but this clears as soon as the engine begins to warm up and the van drives without fault.

The van belonged to an elderly gentleman from 2012 and he would often drive it around Europe for months at a time. He came to the decision he was now too old to use it to its potential and decided to part ways with it .
I purchased the van as a project with the intention of fixing it up and using it for weekends away.

Due to other unexpected commitments becoming a priority I don't have the time to put into the van that i would like and I am therefore putting it up for sale. The van has been well cared for mechanically to ensure it was reliable for the last owners journeys.

As you will see from the photos the chap had a bit of a sticker fetish and had covered the van both internally and externally with stickers. I had started to get them all off the exterior and as you will see from the photos it looks a lot better on the exterior panels that i have removed them from. I dare say a weekend with a heat gun, a scraper and a fridge full of beer would see the van looking a lot better than it currently does.

These vans retail for between 12 - 15k with this sort of mileage but there is some work needed on this one to get it ready for camping again. The bodywork could do with some tidying and the interior will need a good deep clean and DE stickering (unless you like the alternative styling). The alternate option would be to remove the interior and refit it as you want it. There are a few dinks and dents around the body work but nothing that can't be easily repaired if you don't like the rat look.

The previous owner had registered the van overseas which caused me to have a few hurdles to jump before i could obtain a V5 for it. I now have a V5 in my name and the vehicle is currently sorn. I am in no rush to sell the van so please don't waste your time or mine by making silly offers.
