MGB Manual Overdrive 1980

Description:

1980 MGB Roadster manual with overdrive in Vermillion. The black and vermillion colours contrast each other perfectly. Body is solid with a few blemishes but nothing serious. I’ve owned my MGB for about six years. Restored a few years before my ownership, during my tenure I’ve serviced and maintained the MG myself being a well time served Automotive Technician.
Jobs I’ve carried out include;
Completely overhauling seats with new foams, diaphragms and red piping covers.
Fitting electronic ignition.
Renewing thermostat and housing.
Replacing steel rocker cover with MG aluminium cover.
Stripping and cleaning carburettors.
Many other items renewed of which I’ve kept a comprehensive record.
There is a stack of history and receipts which I’ve put into chronological order.
The MGB drives superb with a wonderful rasp from the B series engine which olds over 50psi of oil pressure when warm. The engine itself is sweet, no obtuse knocks or rattles. The overdrive which can be engaged in 3rd or 4th gear slips in and out seamlessly.
