BMW 330i heavily modified 8hp

Description:

SWAP. 2005 BMW E90 325i – Now 3.0i 8-Speed Auto (Not a 2.5i 6-Speed Anymore)

Titan Silver | MOT until 09 Jun 2027 - passed no advisories.

Heavily modified, originally a 2.5i 6 speed auto, now running a 3.0i (N52B30N) engine and 8-speed ZF gearbox – both fully serviced.

Just had rear subframe replaced along with brand new rear driveshafts, brand new rear callipers and brand new brake lines in the whole rear subframe (including flexi lines).

Engine:
- N52B30N 3.0i, approx. 88k miles when fitted

New parts during engine swap:
- Rear main seal, front seal, crank guard, sump gasket, valve cover gasket, valvetronic gasket, breather seal, injector seals, full new aluminium bolts, CCV/PCV delete + catch can

Service after swap:
- oil (fresh fill), air filter, oil filter, iridium plugs, aux belt (Gates), intake manifold gasket, coolant flush.

Turbo prep:
- AN10 oil return bung in sump, N54 oil filter housing with new gaskets, N20 rad pack retrofit (with intercooler)

Gearbox:
- 8HP45, ~70k miles, fresh fluid when fitted

Things I've done (or had done):
- Major modules replaced, coded and updated (FRM3R PL2 MAX BROSE, JBE3, MVS80, CAS3+, LCI IHKA, etc.). DME has been updated to High Output version.
- OEM NBT Evo dash-mounted screen – latest maps, full-screen CarPlay, touch controller, DAB+, ATM 4G (NBT dash install is fine but could do with tidying)
- OEM TRSVC reverse camera working with rear PDCs
- EPS (electric power steering) retrofit
- Paddle-shift steering wheel fitted (not wired yet!)
- Front heated and rear folding 2019 m-sport f30 blue stitch interior
- Coilovers all round
- 18” alloys
- Brand new staggered tyres fitted 29 Oct 25
- New discs & pads recently fitted
- All arms, bushes, inner rods, and track ends replaced front and rear
- 4-wheel laser alignment in May
- Brake fluid flush with Brembo DOT 5.1
- Detachable tow bar
- LCI boot lid and rear lights
- Aftermarket LED front lights with halos

Original Spec:
TV (NBT needs coding or something to get it back working)
HiFi audio
Auto headlights and wipers

Bad parts

Bodywork isn’t immaculate, has scratches, dings, poor paint and alloys could do with a refurb if fussed - pretty much age related.
Cruise control not working due to 8HP45 conversion (community working on a fix).
ATM module needs provisioning for full connected services/sat-nav accuracy (CarPlay works fine).
A/C needs re-gassing after engine swap
