1979 Mini Clubman 1275 GT Body with A Rover K Series 1.8 16v Engine- rare

Lovely classic mini painted in rover pageant blue. Body work does need some tlc. But only surface rust on passenger lower door. Solid little car. Recently had a full engine overhaul with new gaskets, and had the head skimmed and valves reseated, also timing belt and water pump changed. It Runs and drives great, puts a massive smile on your face. It is tax and MOT exempt, I had an MOT last year to ensure it was all still above board and it flew through.

cylinder head Recent overhaul, head skimmed, new gaskets ( uprated head gasket, new cam rubber seals, new inlet manifold gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, new sump rubber gasket) New gator timing belt, new alternator belt, and water pump, new oil filter and oil change on 30/4/2026.
MGTF 160 bottom end and pistons recently cleaned and decarbonised.

Yamaha YZF1000 38mm carbs on custom TIG welded inlet manifold (New RAM AIR filters)
Super lite Alloy radiator (system flush undertaken and new coolant added)

5-speed MGF PG1 gearbox with Rover BRM Torsen diff
Rover Metro front subframe
GAZ coil over front shocks
MGF calipers
Rear coil over spring conversion
Full safety devices roll cage
Adjustable camber brackets
Fuel filler moved to the boot and all panels smoothed.
New interior including two new retro style seats, super lite steering wheel, sound deadening throughout the floor pan and boot. (Made no difference still super loud haha)

Miglia arches (A bit tatty, but only £100 for a new set)

Bits needed to finish her off are installing the passenger wing mirror. I removed as was going to paint the door.
