Bedford CF Mini Supreme minicoach
Location: Greater London - Croydon
Swap Value: £5.000+
Description:
Bedford Plaxton Mini Supreme coach. Manufactured Dec 1979 (as per Vauxhall Motors Certificate of Manufacture) but first registered January 1984 to Herberts of Shefford.
Good condition - 17 belted coach seats (all seats re-trimmed, plus a spare, unfitted, courier seat that the previous owner acquired, also re-trimmed, although there doesn’t appear anywhere to fit it). Tacho fitted. It’s on a Bedford, long wheel base, CF350 chassis with a Plaxton Mini Supreme coach body. It has a 2 litre Bedford diesel engine, five speed manual box and no power steering. Handy size to park/store, just 3.5 tonne, 17.5ft long x 7ft 3in wide x 8ft 4in high. It has a set of chrome wheel trims but I haven’t got them on in the pics. Plaxton only built 34 of these and there are just 8 left in preservation, namely this one 591HNM, DJF631T, CNR274T, FVM191V, KNT815W, RNE692W, XBG982W and KVJ291Y.
I bought this 13 months ago for £10.5k, driving it down the 300 miles from Anglesey to south London and I’ve hardly used it since. After many years of owning old preserved buses the enthusiasm seemed to have waned now and it’s best to move it on to someone else who will appreciate it.
Will consider swaps or px (up or down) for some other interesting classic. I’m not some dealer wanting your vehicle at knock down price it would be a like for like value.
