1979 MGB GT

1979 MGB GT
Was previously off the road from 2003 until I got it October last year. Since then it has had many new parts, all listed below.

New battery
New distributor with electronic ignition
New coil, plugs and leads.
New alternator
New water pump, thermostat and housing.
Refurb front calipers with new pads.
Rear cylinders, shoes and adjusters. With fitting kit.
New brakes pipes (although routing it rough)
New rear light gaskets and screws
All new front headlights, bowls, gaskets the lot. Just missing chrome trims.
New clutch hydraulic kit, master and slave and pipe work.
New ignition switch.

Does start and run nicely on Choke, when off choke it’s running rough and backfires.
Brakes do need a bleed but do work.
Does need welding on the drivers sill, everywhere else seems to be okay but it is an old MG after all. So possibly more needed.
I do have the chrome trims and the paintwork is rattle can job.
